These are PSO's notified ex-depot rates. Your actual pump price may differ slightly because freight charges from the depot to your specific retail outlet are added on top, and OGRA revises rates roughly every two weeks.

Most fuel calculators online use a single generic mileage figure for "a bike" or "a car," which produces a confidently wrong number. Real-world mileage varies enormously based on traffic conditions, riding style, and vehicle condition — a 70cc bike rated at 60 km/litre by the manufacturer often delivers closer to 40-45 km/litre in real Lahore or Karachi traffic with frequent stops, while the same bike can approach its rated figure on an open highway.
This calculator deliberately asks for your mileage rather than assuming one, because the difference compounds fast: at Rs. 300/litre, a bike that actually does 35 km/litre instead of an assumed 55 km/litre costs roughly 57% more in fuel for the same distance — a gap large enough to change whether a long commute is even worth it. The most reliable way to find your real mileage is to fill your tank completely, ride until empty, and divide the kilometers traveled by the litres it took to refill — not the number printed in the brochure.
Divide your trip distance in kilometers by your vehicle's mileage (km per litre) to get the litres needed, then multiply by the current petrol price per litre. For example, a 50 km trip on a bike that does 45 km/litre needs about 1.1 litres, costing roughly Rs. 330 at Rs. 300/litre. The Single Trip mode above does this automatically and also handles round trips.
As of June 20, 2026, PSO's notified Premier Petrol (Euro 5) price is Rs. 299.50 per litre ex-depot. Petrol prices in Pakistan are revised roughly every two weeks by OGRA and the Ministry of Finance based on global oil prices and currency movements, so this exact rate will change — always check the current notified price or your fuel station's posted rate and update the price field above accordingly.
Eligible motorbike and rickshaw owners registered under the scheme get a Rs. 100 per litre discount on their first 20 litres each month — a maximum saving of Rs. 2,000 monthly. Beyond 20 litres, you pay the full pump price. Tick the subsidy checkbox in the Monthly Commute mode above to see your real blended cost after this discount is correctly applied to only the first 20 litres.
Two common reasons: first, your real-world mileage may be lower than what you entered — traffic, AC usage, and aggressive acceleration all reduce mileage below brochure figures. Second, PSO's posted ex-depot price excludes freight charges to your specific retail outlet, which can push the pump price slightly higher depending on your location. Re-check your actual mileage using a full-tank-to-empty test for the most accurate result.
