Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

اکثر پوچھے جانے والے سوالات

Real questions from real applicants — answered clearly and honestly.

Are these schemes only for people in Lahore?
+
No. All CM Punjab schemes are available across all 36 districts of Punjab — from Rawalpindi and Faisalabad to Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur. Some schemes also apply to other provinces under federal programs like Sehat Card.
Do I need a middleman or agent to apply?
+
Absolutely not. Every scheme can be applied for directly — either online or at a designated bank or office. Anyone charging you a fee to register or process your application is running a scam. Report them to Punjab Police Helpline 1717.
Can I apply for multiple schemes at the same time?
+
Yes, in most cases. For example, you can have Sehat Card Plus and Kisan Card simultaneously if you meet the eligibility criteria for both. However, some schemes have exclusions — you cannot take two different housing loans at the same time.
I'm registered in BISP — does that help?
+
Yes, significantly. BISP/PSER registration automatically qualifies you for several schemes including Sasta Atta, and simplifies eligibility verification for Sehat Card Plus and Himmat Card. Always mention your BISP registration when applying for any scheme.
My CNIC is expired — can I still apply?
+
No. A valid, current CNIC is mandatory for all government schemes without exception. Renew your CNIC at any NADRA office before applying. It typically takes 7–30 days depending on the type of card.
How long does it take to get approved?
+
It varies by scheme. Sehat Card registration is often instant. Housing loans take 4–8 weeks. Kisan Card takes 2–4 weeks. Himmat Card takes 4–6 weeks after disability verification. Our individual scheme guides have specific timelines.
Is the information on this website official?
+
No — and we're transparent about that. We are an independent information resource that compiles and explains publicly available government information. We always link to the official source for each scheme. Always verify critical details at official government portals before acting.
What if my application gets rejected?
+
First, ask for a written reason. Common reasons include expired CNIC, incomplete documents, or not meeting eligibility thresholds. Address the issue and reapply — most schemes allow reapplication after 90 days. For housing loans, try a different participating bank.
